As the COO and General Counsel for O’Shaughnessy Holding Company, David Baer oversees the legal aspect of multiple businesses focused on consumer goods and services, manufacturing, technology and real estate. He specializes in Business law, commercial transactions, consumer products, mergers & acquisitions, and international business. Passionate about bringing law and business together, he uses his expertise in the two fields to come up with innovative solutions. Through the years, his leadership abilities kept him driven to succeed. In the workplace, he strives to give others opportunities to grow for themselves and for the company.  

 

Prior to working with O’Shaughnessy, David Baer owned his own law practice called Ethos Business Law. Minnesota Lawyer made him a part of their “15 Attorneys of the Year” list. He is also a partner at Levell11, a DJ company in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

 

David Baer received his B.A. in communications from the University of Minnesota, his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, and his MBA from St. Thomas University. When not too busy with work, David enjoys outdoor activities such as biking and skiing. He also enjoys traveling, cooking and tasting food, and drinking a good glass of wine. Above all, he makes sure to spend quality time with his friends and family.
